KELO-COTE Scar Gel UV 6g / 15g

KELO-COTE UV with SPF30 is an advanced silicone gel specifically developed to help protect scars against the effects of the sun. This is important because, regardless of your skin colour, scars don’t contain melanin – the pigment that protects your skin from UV radiation. Left exposed, scars can experience sun-induced redness and hyper-pigmentation.

Available Sizes

• 6g tube – for scars up to 7.5cm long
• 15g tube – for scars between 7.5cm and 10cm long
• Choosing the right size should make your tube last 60–90 days, approximately one full treatment

How to Use

• Start treatment as soon as the wound is closed or stitches removed. Ensure the area is clean and dry.
• Apply a very thin layer of KELO-COTE twice a day, do not rub in.
• Self-dries within 5 minutes, forming a flexible, waterproof, transparent layer. Remove any excess if it does not dry completely. Once dry, sunblock and cosmetics can be applied.
• Recommended minimum treatment time is 60–90 days. If improvement continues after 90 days, continued use is recommended.
